Burnout results from a period of significant stress that causes depletion of normal organ and biochemical functions of the body.

The implications of the resulting deterioration of health are very significant and dangerous. Worn out glands cannot produce the quantity of hormones and neurotransmitters required for important communications throughout the body. As messaging is interrupted, organs deviate from their intended body functions and begin to weaken while opportunistic microbes may invade and set up residence. Toxins built up in the body compound the problem, making us ill.

This helps you avoid more of the same, now and in the future. A few more obvious sources of stress you are experiencing currently or have in the recent past may stick out like a sore thumb. You should vow to modify or remove these from your life. Nutritional deficiencies, toxins in the body and parasites can be major contributors to Burnout.

Studies reveal that “burnouts” tend to be highly motivated, hard working achievers who may be so intent on reaching their goals that they overlook the body’s signals that something is going wrong! Individuals living at a more moderate pace typically do not burn out.

There are DOZENS of causes of stress and for most of them you may be completely unaware of the detrimental and cumulative effects of the depletion they cause. I was!
